: What is the image circle size of the 127mm Ektar?
: All the references I find seem to omit this lens.
There are sources in this graflex.org area, and maybe I can look up
some others. Briefly, the lens just covers 4x5 at infinity with no
movements-close it a few stops for edge sharpness. It is, for the
center, one of the sharpest Kodak Ektars made, sources say.
The the lens is the "normal lens" for the 3 1/4 x 4 1/4 format
cameras, but was used by the 4x5 just like a 35mm focal length lens
is used today as a wide normal, emphasizing the foreground,
deemphasizing the background, without much distortion. Jim
