: Colour me blonde, but how do you operate the rear
: shutter? Both me and the salesman we stymied.

On the right side of the camera is a silver slider marked "Front -- Back -- Trip." Push in on
it and slide it to the shutter you want to use.
At the top edge of the right side is a winding key and a clear window. As you wind it toward the rear you will see the different speeds come into the window. There are two speeds for each click of the key, which are set by the governor lever down at the bottom of the right side. It's a small silver lever. As you move it back and forth you can see the mask in the window change to show one fast and one slow speed for each position of the winding key.

Trip the shutter with the body release in the normal way. To make another shot at the same speed, you have to wind it back up.

When you want to go back to using the front shutter
remember to let the back shutter down till it is completely open ( "O" in the window ) then change
the slider back to "Front."
