I have a number of plastic Riteway 4x5 film holders, that I acquired used, that the dark slide locks are loose and won't hold their position. Is it possible to tighten these locks so they work properly again?

Right now, I use a rubber band to hold the dark slides in to prevent them coming out prematurely with handling, but it would be nice if the locks worked properly again.
