| I am the proud owner of a pristine GVII camera. I just love this camera. The serial number is 461662A. Any idea what the year of manufacture is? Thank you! |

| Your camera's s/n is in a block of 1500 serial numbers starting with 461448 assigned 4/24/48. The next block of GV serial numbers was assigned 8/1/49. |

Thank you so much Dan. The date fits with the included 203mm 7.7 Ektar lens that is dated 1949. I bought it on ebay just before Christmas for $236. It is a true time machine as it looks like it was made a month ago. It also has the short lens shade bellows and a metal felt lined cap to protect the lens.
