I need a number of Series VI screw-in lens caps. Seems that they are hard to find today. Back in the day Spiratone sold them.
If you have any that you want to sell please let me know.
I could also use a Series V lens cap and a Series VII as well.
Yes, I've searched the 'bay and bough the only two that were there.
Thanks! |

Yes, they're hard to find. I make do with improvised push-on caps, soft plastic tops from prescription pill containers. They come in many sizes. I have them to fit Series VI and VII. Not pretty, but they do the job. |

Don't recall ever seeing series VI screw-in lens caps, but series VI diameter is 44 mm in case you don't know. Not that it will make your search any easier, I fear! I have numbers of the series VI lens hoods and attaching rings, for my variously sized push-on filter rings (also called "slip rings"). I too have resorted to a variety of improvised caps, as mentioned by Billy Canuck, and also fitted slip-on caps for the several lenses I own. Back in the days of camera shows you could pick these items up readily, but camera shows (good ones, at any rate) seem to have vanished (like Plus-X and Kodachrome!). |

Thanks. Looks like each grab bag is different with no way to ensure I get a cap. |

Just to close this thread out I got the last Series VI lens cap that I need. So far I have yet to see a Series V cap on eBay. _________________ Tony Oresteen
