i'm new, hopeidon't err in my manners. have a chance to purchase a graflex ciro-flex, top on the line model. is dirty from lack of care on outside(cosmetic damage) but shutter works well on slowest speed and apature works, etc. the owner(found it in family attic junk)has no idea of value, nor do i. can you help me in making him a reasonable offer? He is less than half the camera's age and has no use for it. thanks!

When I get stuck like that I search ebay for the item --"(ciro,graflex 22)" and then look at the completed auctions. it's the best pulse of the market I know of.

I have several Ciro's and a Graflex 22. these cameras usualy sell for between $20 and $50 on Ebay. If the one your looking at is fully working including acurate shutter speeds it's worth buying. The cosmetics clean up easily. Check the camera over carefuly for rust on the inside. These are all metal cameras and are prone to rusting if stored in damp conditions. There are plenty of Kodak Series V and VI filter adapters available to fit these cameras and can be had for a few dollrs. Ciro's and Graflex 22's take great pictures so don't hesitate to get one. |
