Hello,
Do you have to drop the bed when using a 90mm lens on a 4x5 Pacemaker Speed to keep the front of the camera out of the shot?
thank you for the help.

hey I just put on a Raptar Wide Angle 90mm f6.8 and had a look
maybe at infinty it mite just be there but not bad if you move the lens up 2 to 4 mm it would go away. the same thing with a 84mm lens that I have its about the same
NOW with other lens like super Angulon or Angulon it mite be in the way & need to drop the bed as the Super does have a Wider Angle
But with my Optar f6.8 that is "not a Wide Angle" or Raptar Wide Angle 90mm f6.8 (or a Optar wide angle about the same) I can't say that I have ever notested seeing the bed in any of my shots!!
I do have a super Angulon on my Graphic View & I can't rember ever
trying it out on a Crown or Speed!! |

I've shot with an 88 B&L a 90 Angulon and a 90mm optar. all show the bed unless you drop it. _________________ "In order to invent, you need a good imagination and a lot of junk" Thomas Edison |

Ditto, unless I want a photograph with the front bed in the photograph. _________________ Nothing beats a good piece of glass. |
