On a 2 1/4" x 3 1/4" Pacemaker Speed Graphic the FP shutter curtain is approximately 7/32" in from the back of the body and the focal (film or ground glass) plane is approximately 3/16" behind the back surface of the body. This makes a total distance between the shutter curtain and the film plane about 13/32" on this size camera.
This dimension may be different on other sizes and/or models of Graflex cameras.
