Hi- My first question: I have a Graflex 3A in good condition. I've looked very diligently, but cannot find the serial number. It is not on the underside of the top door, a hint I saw someplace. I'd like to know the approximate age of the camera. It does not have the Autographic feature, so pre-1915. Help! Steve Fry

| On my pre-autographic 3A the serial number is on the edge of the body that is revealed when the viewfinder lid is opened. |

There were two 3A models before the final autographic.
Do you know whether yours is the first or second?
Relevant re dating and serial number location.

| Mine would be the second model, since it lacks the corner cutouts on the bottom that identify the first model. |

On my second model the serial number is on the inside of
the front door - between the tracks and close to the hinge.
This model was made from 1912 - 1915.
(serial number is 35158)
