Well the handle broke on my Series D and the camera fell about twelve inches onto concrete. The camera is fine except for the top ground glass, which shattered.
I have other ground glass from view cameras but they're differently sized. Any good ideas on getting some replacement glass inexpensively?
I'm also wondering if there's an easy way to remove the handle rivets (two on either side of the handle, they go through to a washer on the inside of the lid). I could drill them out but that seems drastic. |

Could be worse. I taped up the glass and drilled out the holes. I'll replace those two little leather holders with brass.
It's funny, I had been eying them suspiciously from day one. Should have gone with my gut. |
