In a box of parts I aquired, was what looks to be an adapter to use a Graphic spring back, or Graflok back on cameras with the Graflex back, such as B or RB series. Looks like a factory item, but no part number on it. It fits in place of the old Graflex film holder (slotted sides). Anyone ever see on of these? |

| Very very interesting. Does it hold the film in the same plane as the original back does?

No, this is a wood adapter board on which a Graphic back mounts with screws, the same as it would on a Speed Graphic. Then, the whole thing mounts onto a camera with a Graflex back just like a film holder would. Held in place by the slide(s). That moves the film plane back a half inch or so, to the plane of the ground glass on the attached Graphic back. Hard to explain but very simple. Enables use of modern roll film holders, sheet film holders, etc.
