I've just returned from a 4-day WW II re-enactment where I used a wartime Anny. Front shutter with flashbulds for PR work, rear shutter for fast-moving field and combat work. It was a blast, flipping film holders, popping and replacing flashbulbs, and just USING the big, black camera the way it was designed to be used. I'm looking forward to a good day in the darkroom tomorrow.

(and the best news is that I saw two other guys with Annys!)_ |

Glenn;
You bet it was!

As soon as the work is ready, it'll be up on dateline:london.de.
I also shot a pair of Contax, so you'll be able to see the difference between the big camera and the little ones.

Did you have a MacArthur? One of his South Pacific photographers (with custom built aluminum Graflex) told me the general traveled with a makeup artist |

We HAVE had a Patton in the past, but not this year.
