For those interested in mounting electronic flash units on top of a Graflex battery case, I just found a company offering the metal adapters.
http://www.veachco.net/j-35.htm
Check part way down the page for the Flash Tube Cup Adapter. |

Good info Alec. Do you have any idea if that adapter fits the 1 1/2 inch tube on the Graphics?

Only a guess, Rich, but from the other flash handles mentioned, I believe they are all the same as the Graflex. I know the Graflex clamps fit the Lumedyne handles so I'm thinking they're all real close. I'm sure the distributor can provide more details.
In fact, I got one of these directly from Lumedyne years ago and it fit Graflex tubes. As I recall, this isn't in the Lumedyne catalog any longer.
These are better than the Graflex cap, IMO, because the Graflex caps were just rubber, whereas these are metal and have a mounting screw. I use one like this with a Vivitar 283 flash on my Crown 45.
I forgot to mention these folks also have the cold shoe which can be screwed to the cap if you want to mount your electronic flash via the shoe, rather than a 1/4-20 bolt. Very useful stuff.

Thanks Alec. You're right about the Lumidyne. I remember them being mentioned a long time ago.
