I ususally see 405's on ebay a couple of times a week, the one you got sounds like it is something like a 545 which is for the polaroid sheet films, but keep looking the 405 shows up on ebay quite often, I think I paid $30 US for my last one.

Let's see if I can straighten this out. First off there aren't any sales here, just a free transmission of ideas and experiences, that's why your headline went to asterisks.

Second. A film pack adapter was designed to hold sheet film on a thin back, film is not available and they are useless.

The Polaroid 405 back will fit most 4x5 cameras but gives approximately a 3 1/4 x 4 1/4 image on Polaroid's 600 series pack films.

And a quick search for Polaroid back on ebay shows many to fit medium format cameras there were two up that fit 4x5s.
