1. Included with my last PM Crown purchase was a Graphic Film Pack Adapter. Since I had read that film packs were no longer available, I just set the bubble-wrapped device on the work table and concentrated on the Crown and, as usual, sick Compur shutter. Later I unwrapped the adapter only to discover it still contained film. There are five numbered 'tabs' protruding from the adapter which also identify the film as TriX. Wow, something to shoot and soup and see if it is still good. Instructions are thin on this device so please help me with the chain of events. Is it compose the shot, set the lens, insert the adapter, pull the darkslide, shoot, reinsert slide, pull the paper tab? What comes out? I don't want to ruin anything just playing, since this may be my only chance to play with one of these things.
2. Got my first Crown in June, now up to four. How do you stop once you start?
Thanks for your assistance.

2. How do you stop? When you have to sell them to pay for alimony.

The paper tabs only allow you to get the exposed film out of the way (around to the back of the pack). There should be a darkslide. So.....

compose on ground glass, find exposure setings. close lens insert adapter, pull darkslide. Expose pull tab. tear tab off. Rinse. Repeat.

Once the pack has been exposed proceed to the dark room and process by trays. The film is more flexible than regular sheet film and will fall out of most film hangers, Yankee tanks, etc. Early Yankee tanks had pins to lance the corners to keep thefilm inplace and there's always the Kodak pack film tank that you curve the film into a pie shaped section. Good luck.

Thanks! Does that mean that there are exposures inside from the first 11 shots, as mine start with #12. This could be just like Christmas!

Oh, and done with the alimony, no risk there!

Yes there are exposed film in there! Let's hope the camera was in Dallas in November of '63.

My wife keeps telling me she's one camera away from seeing a lawyer. So if I buy one more camera I'd end up selling all of them to pay for the allimony that the cameras caused in the first place.
