I thought I read a while back that someone was making new parts for these cameras (ie cams, battery covers, stops etc)if so who is? I'd like to pick up a master cam to set my RF as per the manual

Fred Lustig may have what you need. A search on this site should turn up his info, or, if you have a lt of patience, digging through these posts. No web site. He just has a daytime only phone number. Perhaps someone will respond with the info. I just recently talked to Fred but I have never written anything down.

The last problem I had, with a lever RH-10 broken return spring, Mr. Lustig wouldn't just sell me the part, so I sent the RH to him to do the job. It wouldn't have been a difficult fix, as I had already disassembled the works far enough to remove the busted spring, and was pretty sure I could get it all back together again. Fact, I would have fabricated a spring out of spring wire, but for one factor: the original was made of flat wire stock, hard to find (I assumed).
Anyhow, this is in no way a criticism of Mr. Lustig---thank heavens for him! Just a caution that he might not want to sell you parts. You can but ask. His phone number is 775-746-0111 |
