MANUFACTURING CODES
Each Graflex product is stamped with a three digit code showing
date of manufacture. The first letter is the month, the second
numeral is the year, and the third letter is the revision. The
revision letter is changed when a new model is introduced or when
a major modification is made to the equipment.

Compact Projector -- Upper part of film track; remove lens.

Thanks for the post. I do have one caveat. The revision code is about 95% accurate. For reasons I can't fathom, I have seen Grafmatics from the early 60s (GPE) with a revision code of D or E and ones from the later 60s (post Singer) with rev. codes of A or B. Maybe Singer 'reset' the revisions.

Maybe somebody didn't get the memo at work: my Crown Special 'coded' K1A is stamped on the inside of the body between the two holes drilled for the Karlart encircling bracket.

I agree with Les, my coded Grafmatic is stamped 'CW' only. The other five are uncoded.

My Century serial #523213 was made in 1954, so it predates the code system posted above. The number 41 is stamped on the bottom of the bed yoke. Anybody know the significance?
