does nayone know that this speed i o scope lens is used for and on? its on sale and id liek to know what it would work on as i have never heard of it.

Looks like a standard Ilex electro shutter to me, may also be the manual version, but If I remember right Graflex contracted with Ilex for many of their shutters, this one may have been for one of the many medical applications that Ilex and Graflex did over the years.

That shutter doesn't look as though it has any lens but only a glass disk to keep the blades from getting damaged. It doesn't look like an electronic model either.

I never spell this right, but it was used for tacyskop....tachisopic...ta...oh well. It was used in front of a projector to flash brief images of enemy airplanes and ships to train troops for better, faster recognition.

In the 60s Evelyn Wood made a fortune by applying this idea to reading.

In the 70sCheech Marin and Tommy Chong imortalized Evelyn Wood(head)

Tachistoscope. I was exposed to one in high school.
