Being in the proccess of resurecting an old speed graphic, I set about to adjust the side mounted kalart rangefinder, a task I hope to not have to repeat.
Anyway, following the instruction on this sight I was able to get the rangefinder to focus and track properly at infinity, 13 ft and 3 ft ( 127mm rodenstock yserex). But the close scale reads a little over one foot. Is this a concern? It seems to focus properly regardless, so I am not too worried, but should I be?
Also, any tricks to getting the cover back on so that the coincedent screw in the cover hits the gizmo it is suppossed to, so it will do something? |

I was succesful at calibrating inf,, 15' and 4'. The scales on the front and back were close to what the manual on calibration suggested. (Did you know there is a copy of the calibration procedure online here?)
I have since taken pics using the rangefinder when subject was greater than 4'. Anything closer I use the loupe and a tripod. |
