I looking for a portrait lens with pc sync for 4x5 speed graphic.
found this lens on ebay, could someone tell me if the this will cover 4x5.
Schneider-Kreuznach 240mm f 5.5 Lens/ Linhof Shutter, made in West Germany. Lens is in perfect condition. Synchro Compur shutter is sluggish at lower speeds. All it needs is a standard cleaning and lube.
f-stops are 5.5, 8, 11, 16, 22, and 32. Shutter speeds are 1, 1/2, 1/5, 1/10, 1/25, 1/50, 1/100, and 1/200 seconds. Has X and M flash synchronization, Comes mounted on a standard 4" square wooden board. Front and rear lens caps are incuded but they are not the originals.
Lens serial# is 3811030. Shutter serial# is A514936. |

| It could be a TeleArton or a TeleXenar, should have the name engraved on it.
Short answer, if a TeleXenar it will barely cover 4x5. Barely. The 240/5.5 TeleArton is for 2x3. See http://www.schneiderkreuznach.com/archiv/archiv.htm for details.
Cheers,
