The serial number on my all black Anniversary is 4422. What would the mfg date be? The serial number was on the inside top of the case.
Camera came with Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar 13.5 lens.

It should be a 6 digit serial number

Barring that and assuming these were the last 4 digits then it could be any of the 4 years of black Anniversaries. '42-44
