I just wonder if someone had tried to attach a Mamiya RB 67 revolving back to 6x9 Speed Graphics?

You should be OK with the RB back...but NOT a RZ67,it doesn't fit,a completely different design...tried it!

I don't think he's talking about the actual film holder (but you are right, an RB67 or RB67 ProS film back does work on the graflex 2x3 Graflok).. I think he's asking about the revolving adapter. My answer is, I don't know but would be interested if somebody has done it..  Jeff

The problem is the bellows are not square. I'm sure you can remove the back from a mini/23 pacemaker and adapt a board mounted with an RB G adapter on it, but I suspect you'll run into vignetting problems in the verical mode. That's why, when Graflex made an RB 2x3 camera, they used a 3x4 body.
I also don't see a great advantage to doing it. For hand holding it's easier to just rotate the camera, and if your using the the very limited movements, is it really worth it? |

| For me it would be an advantage as I have this old back, I think Graflok, and not the springback, so its not possible to change from groundglass to roll filmholder without screwing^^ |

Hmm. Sounds like a spring back, not a Graflok. Look it up.
Have you considered using an Adapt-A-Roll 620? While you're looking, look it up too.

Here in Europe its nearly impossible to find any parts for Graflex, and even on ebay USA I never found that newer back,
here you see my back and my problems, I didnt find a good way to adapt the back, so I got the idea with this Mamyia back |

| So what you are saying is you want to adapt an RB67 Graflok to your 2x3 camera.. Not necassarily for rotation but to use roll film backs?? Graflex RH backs and Grafmatics will also work with the mamiya rb adapter if you are successful.. I don't see why it couldn't be done. However, I don't quite know how you would use a ground glass. I don't think there is one for the mamiya RB.. At least one is not mentioned in my RB67 manual.. Figure, unless you already have one, on spending the better part of $50 US for an adapter. I see weekly ads for Graflex XL Graflok back frames on the bay.. Jeff |

Yup, spring back.
If you're patient and willing to spend enough $$$, you ought to be able to snag a 2x3 Adapt-A-Roll 620 from eBay. They usually sell for less that Graflex holders. The AAR-620 slips in like a sheet film holder, was made for press cameras with spring backs. I use 'em with my 2x3s.

You are right, just tried to fix my groundglass to RB67 back, it doesnt fit,
its to wide, maybe 6 or 8mm. So what that means?
Are there different groundglasses for springback and graflok? |
