Basically you'll need to find another auction, or show that's selling either parts or another parts camera.
While you won't get the education of rebuilding the camera, you're probably better off sending it back. And if those items weren't mentioned in the ad, then it's "significantly not as described" which means you can get your money back even though I'm sure he said "as is, where is, etc...." and if you paid via paypal or a credit card, you can lodge a claim, you can also do it through ebay if less than $200, tho it costs you $20 or $25.
