Hi,
I am thinkning of adding a 2 1/4x 3 1/4 camera to my current 4x5 crown graphic. The 2x3 camera I am lookng at has a Graflex Graftar f/4.5 103mm. My question does anyone know if the Graflex Graftar f/4.5 103mm has enough coverage for my 4x5 crown graphic so I can interchange the lenses on my cameras. |

I'm pretty sure it doesn't, at infinity. A four-inch lens that covers 4x5 will be a wide-angle design, like Kodak's 100mm. f:6.3 "Wide Field Ektar." The normal three- and four-element lenses supplied for miniature "Graphics" are designed to produce an image circle a bit over four inches in diameter, not the six inches you need to cover 4x5. |

With any kind of front rise on the 103 Graftar/Century 2x3 combo you will get top corner vignetting on the neg and print, so the 103 on a 4x5 would no doubt give you a nice four-corner vignette. Great effect if you want to simulate a view through a telescope! |
