Hello! I wondered if the 270mm/f5.6 Rodenstock Rotelar could be used with any of the Med.Format Graphics. It is a telephoto design, and from what I have read, requires a bellows draw of about 150mm at infinity. I suppose it will require more at the closer ranges. I do not own either the lens or the camera yet, but am considering it. And what is the maximum bellows draw for the Baby Graphics anyway? Thanks! |

Bellows draw on the Century Graphic is 8 inches, more or less. It accommodates my 203 mm (non-telephoto) Optar, but that's stretching it to the limit. A 150mm (6") draw shouldn't be a problem. |

The big problem is likely to be getting the rear group into the bellows. If I recall aright, the 270mm. f:6.8 "Rotelar" wouldn't fit through the baffle that appears to stiffen the front of the bellows assembly on a "Century" and miniature "Pacemaker Speed." |
