Is it possible to get a stick on scale?
I have a lens in a shutter where the scale is not engraved.
Is it possible to get a stick on item for a 150mm lens? |

I have never seen a stick on, if you get the size, it would be pretty easy to make one yourself, you might check with Grimes, I know they do engraved scales, perhaps they would have an idea about stick on scales.

I've never heard of stick-ons either? Grimes doesn't charge too much for this service though if the lens is worth it.
What I did for a convertable lens in a new shutter was make my own.
I have the GG probe for my Luna Pro. I first aligned the camera to a white wall, evenly illuminated. Set up a good lens for f-8 and took a measurment with the meter on the GG. This becomes the 'standard.
I then mounted the convertable, set it for infinity focus and then moved the arperture so the GG mesurement was exactl;y the same as the good lens. I had cut and placed a mailing label (white) on the shutter. I then marked the f-8 on this label.
Then I went through the f-stop range, one stop at a time and marked the label. I did this for the other two lens configurations. I now have an arperture scale on the shutter for all three lens configurations and they seem to work just fine...
