I just purchased a Crown Graphic Special. The camera is equiped with a Rodenstock 135mm Ysarex. Was the Ysarex an OEM lens? The lens is mounted in a synchro compur; the aperature ring is marked graflex. I'm curious because most Specials that I see are equiped with a Xenar and not a Ysarex. Also does anynoe know which cam is needed for this lens? I looked at the chart and see that there are several possiblities(P5, P6, P7). I don't want to spend $ on a cam that may or may not work...
FWI the camera seral # is : 989641 the code under the rail is E2B
Thanks

the Ysarex was the OEM lens on very late Crown Specials, which your serial and date code bear out May of 1972.
re: cam. Lenses vary slightly in actual focal lenght, the only way to know for sure is to have the lens put on an optical bench and accurately measured. Finding an optical bench is the hard part.
