Help!!!
I have a Super Speed Graphic and need to know where to connect my newer electonic flash, using the three terminal strip on the lower right side of the camera. The 1000 version lens/shutter does not have PC terminals for flash. The repair manuals I have do not state which connectors to use. I know that these connectors are also used for tripping the electonic shutter. The spacing on these connector sockets is not even, for reference I will try to show what they look like:
0 0 0
(1) (2) (3)
I hope that this helps. Thanks.

Hi Emil...
This is a drawback to the Graflex 1000 shutter, having no external flash terminals. I recall a thread on this helpboard which explains the outlet on the side of the camera...
http://graflex.org/helpboard/viewtopic.php?topic=1468&forum=7
There is an entry that explains the center & front holes form the solenoid trip circuit and the center & rear holes form the flash trigger.
Check out the Graflex page on the Paramount Cords website...
http://www.paramountcords.com/graflex.htm
If you scroll down to the bottom of that page, Paramount does say they make a custom cord to connect the camera socket to modern flashes. The tip on the other end of the cord depends on what type of connection is on the flash that you have. I have thought about having a custom cord made to connect my Sunpak 522 to the SSG outlet, but I haven't done so yet. I've been enjoying using flashbulbs with the camera, though, which works very well.

Yes, that camera connection was Proprietary with Graflex. I'd suggest you get at least one of their cords ASAP. You may have to adapt it to your flash connection. That would be cheaper than a custom made cord.
The cord is commonly known as a "Y" cord, but frequently referred to, on ebay, as a "remote" cord. There are some on there now.
