My guess is that it is a "Rotelar." I got an f:6.5 270mm. "Rotelar" from Olden Camera & Lens about 20 years ago; they also had an f:4.5 180mm. (both in "Compur" shutters). They said these lenses originally were made for the Graflex "XL." It seems not unlikely that some were rebadged with the Graflex "Tele-Optar" brand.

Do they have rear elements?

Does yours have a diaphragm? What's on offer looks much like a front cell. I can't see a diaphragm ring on it.

I didn't see a photo on the eBay offer, but perhaps I didn't wait long enough for it to load. The "Rotelars" I got from Olden were complete: front and rear cells, and a "Synchro Compur" shutter in between, with diaphragm.

If the listing is for a front cell only, I still think it might be a "Rotelar," or half of a "Rotelar."

...I went back and let the pix load. It sure looks like the front cell of my "Rotelar," even to the chromed front flange. I have the feeling that the seller doesn't know what it is, either!

Thanks for the learned replies. I was thinking along the same lines-- thought it looked like an incomplete lens, although I didn't know what it was from. Nice paperweight anyway.
