If you had a supermatic shutter & 127mm Ektar.If the shutter was very badly worn Would the lens cells go into a Copal shutter. What size though?
Would you do it in the interest of gaining a accurate & reliable shutter?

Will the cells go?

Nope. Remember Supermatic=made in USA 50 years ago, English system

Copal=Japanese made, metric system.
It would take a lot of labor to adapt an ektar to a Copal, better to buy a used excellent Symmar for $150 and be miles ahead.

Or keep watching and lurking for a nice shutter with a bad lens, or a non ektar that sells cheap.
