Hi, i am new to these forums along with large format photography in general. I hope to soon buy a Anniversary or Pacemaker Speed Graphic. I know how to tell the difference between a Anniversary and a Pacemaker, but what are some easy ways to quickly tell if a particular camera is an Anniversary or Pre-Aniversary?
Thanks!

The easiest sign is the lock on the front standard, the Anny lock rotates, while the Pre-Ann is a pinch type.
Pre-Anns have grey hardware, while the Anny has either chrome or black trim.
Not all, but most Pre-anns have a folding viewfinder while the Anny always had a tubular type.
The rear peep sight on ALL Pre-Anns had one that was mounted on the top of the body and flipped up, while MOST of the Annys had a peep sight that was mounted to the back and rotate or swung up from the right side.
All pre-Anns had a folding "tombstone" front wire finder, while the Annys telescoped up, but a lot of Pre-Anns had this removed 'cause it got in the way.
