I couldn't find anyting in the archives on this, but how do I attach my cable release to a Betax shutter? It has a fitting thats threaded on the outside, with no threads on the inside. The threads look like the ones you see on a tire valve. Do I need to hook up a bicycle pump to it? Are there any adapters that allow the use of a conventional shutter release? What do I need to get this puppy to fire?---Thanks!

The few Betax shutters I have seen & used have _two_ sets of threads. the outside threads are for an unknown to me realease. But there are _inside_ threads that accept any standard realease cable. try it!
