Was rare earth glass used in any of the Anastigmat line of Kodak lens?
According to information on this site they started using Rare Earth Glass in 1940 in the Aero's.( The Len's collectors Vade Mecum states the same)
My 10 inch f4.5 s/n EAxxx (1942) is a three element group* design, two front one rear. The inner front element (group?) has a slight "Brownish" color to it when viewed by itself. It slightly tints the entire lens when installed.
Where can one get a suspect lens tested*?

I don't know why you'd want "teats" on your lens, but... 
The only thing I could think of is maybe a school science dept. They should have a working geiger counter. Whether or not they be willing is something else? If you could find a reatil place that sells counters, they might be willing to show you how one works!
Or, you could just place the lens on top of a polaroid (or standard film sheet) for a couple of days and develop it to see if it shows a circle the size of the lens...
It's too late to think of anything else...

3 days on the This Side toward Lens side of #52 Polaroid = even blackish print when processed. No stray particles going wherevever they wish.
