Just wondering why after Logging in, do you have to login again to view private mail? Also how do you know you have private mail, unless you check it each time you login. Russ

I've always wondered why this board requires login every time. Other boards I frequent (e.g., Yahoo!toyota-prius and priusonline.com) remember my login and I never have to sign in. It's a small matter, I know, and I'm not complaining---just curious.

I don't know the inner working of the site. I don't bother logging in properly. I just scan the forums for new posts. When I find one that needs a reply I login at that time. Once the reply is posted and it gets me back to either the forum index or the post, the [login] box in the upper right will change to [logout] and if there are any new private messages a line will appear there "you have 1 new private message"

I use the secure login feature, click the little check box and wait for the form to change to secure mode, and never have to relog on anything unless I open a second browser and use it.
