All is well with my new 203 Ektar the cable release fitting was protected by a knurled screw, which I removed and now it fires fine. Next on the agenda is to find a slip on filter adapter. After measuring the diameter of the lens I tried a 33mm to Series 6 but it was way to large---I guess either my arms aren't long enough or I need a new pair of specs. Does anyone know what size slip on adapter I'll need?

A 33mm was too *large*?? Hmmm...don't know about the Ektar 203, but my Optar 203 accepts a 38mm series VI slip ring. |

Everything I could find about the 203 f7.7 says the 33mm should fit. I bent the "fingers" in quit a bit and it fits now, the adapter must have "finessed' by a previous owner. Thanks Guys! |
