There are a lot of sheet film holders around on ebay: Fidelity, Riteway & lisco.
Are all of these good for use with a spring back Speed Graphic or must I look for something else.
This may be a stupid question.
However Fidelity & Riteway holders seen to average between 5 and 7 UK£ each. I don't wish to make a mistake.

I haven't found a camera yet but I expect its pretty likely it'll have a spring back.

PS: Hi there from a newbie!

Fidelity, Lisco, Graflex Graphic ( NOT slotted Graflex) and any of the modern holders all fit the spring back and Graflok backs. Buying them on eBay is a little risky when it comes to condition. Ask the seller questions. Most sellers are not photographers. I never pay more than two or three dollars US for them, often less, because I know they will usually need a thorough cleaning and new hinge tape. I don't mind doing that as long as they are cheap. Be sure to clean used holders well before use, especially the felt light traps where the slides go in. Blow them out with air. Check carefully for light leaks and cracks. Old, cheap ones work fine if you are willing to spend a little time on them. Good luck -----

I thought that might be the case with the film holders. I wanted to be absolutely sure.

Those Fuji and Kodak holders, I might not ever bother with them. I will follow the reccomendation to 'waste' a sheet of film to practice loading a slide.

I will also give due consideration to obtaining a Polaroid holder. The site suggests this fits a spring back.
