As long as the lens was designed to cover 4x5 at infinity focus, is 300mm (12 inch) to approximately 65mm (I'm not sure what the widest lens that will fit is), and its shutter mount flange or retaining ring does not interfere with the lens board locks when mounted on camera, your good to go.

Hi, now I have question about lenses and lensboards, I would like to know if I can use almost any lens, a nikon 210mm for example, in my crown graphic. I have an old 135mm schneider in the original lensboard. How can I know the size or should I get a new lensboard?
Thank you so much in advance

If you can get a new lensboard it's always easier. That way you can switch lenses with less hassle. |

Thank you both, I'll look for a 210mm in a newer version considering the shutter, but I guess there are not any more synchro compur shutters, could I use a normal copal shutter?

| Yes, Copal and Compur standard sizes (0, 1, 3) are to the same specifications. |

Your Ektar 101 lens is indeed a 30mm thread.
You can buy the series V retaining ring on ebay, but good luck. Most people measure incorrectly or the wrong side or guess. Be prepared to buy a couple of lots and finally find what you need. That's what we had to do. But once you have this ring you can get series V filters at good prices.

Thanks, but my lens is a 135mm Schneider-Xenar in a synchro compur shutter... the lens I want to buy is a 210mm in a copal shutter. If you know about one in good shape and excelent price, please advice me:
