Hello,
Is there a physical dimension difference between the Speed Graphic 4 x 5 and the Speed Graphic 3-1/4 x 4-1/4 or are they the same box with different lenses and film holders?
Thanks for your help.
Bill

Everything except the rangefinder, viewfinder and lens is smaller. If you line up a 2x3 a 3x4 and a 4x5 it is like stairsteps. The 3x4 weighs of course less but still produces a nice negative. The down side is the avaiability of film, and I doubt if anyone would process color film even if you cut it down. Russ

Thanks for your help. I was looking at a case for a 3x4 hoping a 4x5 would fit. I guess not.

I haven't been able to track down all the variations to the cases that Graflex made, but I know at least one of the versions had a moveable divider. put it forward to hold a 3x4 camera, move it back or remove it for the 4x5. The 3x4 film holders would fit but be sloppy, I don't think this one had a slotted space for another lens, so the problem of a smaller lens board wasn't an issue.
