I first became interested in Graflex Graphic cameras while in high school During my first year of college, I bought a 4x5 Pacemaker Speed from e*ay, and eventually outfitted it as a complete set. Luckily, my campus job was with the AV department and they were throwing out a bunch of graphic accessories that I pulled out of the trash (1 grey Vulcanoid case, about 15 Riteway film holders, 3 cell graflite and reflector, and manuals for camera and flash) I became interested in other stuff, and the Speed went home to my parents. This past winter I pulled it out, cleaned it up, and intend on using it. The site has been helpful for both the wealth of information and this board. Now that the spring weather is warming, I can't wait to go take some photos! Thank you Graflex.org! |

Hold the GRAPHIC with pride,Wilkidm, when you venture out...think of the history behind this camera-no other camera has gone through what this one has...from photographing famous people to the battlegrounds across the World..
...yet the S.G. machine is still working today-with a little loving tender care!
I bet your washing machine has'nt reached this age and still running-miracle if it has.. |
