I was kind of curious, were heliars ever fitted to 4x5 graphic cameras? Would they fit in a closed Speed or Crown? If so, what focal length would they have been? Thanks! |

| As standard issue, no, but remember that whatever can be mounted a Graphic probably has been mounted on one after the camera was first sold. A 150 is the most likely. FYI, the 105/3.7 Ektar, a Heliar type, was top of the line standard issue on 2x3 Pacemakers. |

There was a 5x7 Speed on ebay recently with a 210mm Heliar that the seller thought was original equipment.
Here's a link to the item (I think... Will this work?); it sold last week:

I might have bid on that one myself, if it had a regular spring back.
Any thoughts on this camera/lens combo? |
