May not be as accurate, but it is a whole lot less offensive and childish!

Uh...ok. Back to the business at hand, how'd the repair/cleaning go on the flash contacts? Fred.

Actually the repairs seemed to go pretty well - Everything reassembled properly and the shutter works. However, my digital VOM can't pick up the contacts closing: I'll have to test it in my customer's studio, where the right cables reside.
Incidently, I grabbed my El-Nikkor 50mm f/4 and Rodenstock 100mm f/5.6 lenses off my (Saunders 670 XL) enlarger, and after dinner I'm going to see how well they mount up to either the Wollensak or Kodak shutters...
Cheers!

About the lenses, they won't screw in. You might be able to attach them to the fronts of your shutters with darkroom tape.
After you've shot with them, I'd be interested to hear how they worked out. Neither should cover 4x5 at normal distances.
I've shot a variety of enlarging lenses close-up against purpose-built macro lenses and at normal distances against lenses designed for that. In general the enlarging lenses have come out poorly. The only exception has been a 4"/5.6 Enlarging Pro Raptar that was nearly as good as a 100/6.3 Reichert Neupolar at 4:1 and tied a known good 100/6.3 Luminar. The Enlarging Pro Raptar was pretty poor at normal distances.
I have a 210/9 Konica Hexanon GRII that is, properly speaking, a process lens not an enlarging lens. It does very very well at all distances.
Cheers,

By golly, you're righ: These enlarging lenses suck... Plus, they don't screw in, either...
In fact, I'm beginning to wonder if that's the reason why I'm getting edge falloff on larger images...
Hmmm, when the chassis comes in for my Durst CLS 450 I'll make a lensboard for my Graflex lenses and give them a try!
16 inches and climbing... Oh, the snow, that is!

Please drop the tagline. Its offensive.
Your enlarging lenses are fine. The Nikkor is way too short for 6x7. Both are too short for 4x5, and you've got the wrong enlarger for 4x5 too. If prints from 6x7 negs have edge falloff, check whether the enlarger's condensor is set up properly.
Its wonderful that you have the tools and want to learn to use them. There are books on all this stuff, and the last time I looked the CHFPL had some. After we're dug out, go over there and check 'em out.
I have just as much snow as you, pal, and covered with sleet just like yours too.
Cheers,
Dan

Good idea to go to the Cherry Hill Library -- My mother is on the Board of Trustees!
Anyway, I know my Saunders 670DXL is too small for 4x5. In fact, I'm seeing edhe falloff on a 35mm chrome I'm using for a test; though I'll run it through a densitometer to make sure it's not in the film. Since I have some time on my hands today(!) I'll open up the Saunders and clean & adjust the condenser assembly.
On the other hand, the chassis I ordered for my Durst CLS-450 head hasn't arrived just yet. Fortunately I have a 4x5 film holder for it, so if I get a Good Shot I can enlarge it optically into a Cibachrome (Ilfochrome).
