To repeat a suggestion from Henry in PA, try the Hobby Shops that cater to the Model Railroad and R/C Airplane hobbyists. They usually have a selection of small screws, washers and nuts.

And here he is! As C. H. said, also you can contact W.K. Walthers in Milwaukee, WI (google up their site), big model RR supply house, if you know the size(s) you're looking for they may be able to help you.

My local hardware store sells 0-80's, 1-72's, 2-56's and 3-48's. What sizes are you looking for?

If you haven't looked at Micro-Mark, it might be worth your while to visit. They carry a good many small fasteners and a lot of other useful stuff.
