To repeat a suggestion from Henry in PA, try the Hobby Shops that cater to the Model Railroad and R/C Airplane hobbyists. They usually have a selection of small screws, washers and nuts.

If you haven't looked at Micro-Mark, it might be worth your while to visit. They carry a good many small fasteners and a lot of other useful stuff.
