Hey all... I am the manager of an old time photo studio and we use graflex cameras. I have 4 of them but use only 2 at a time. My 2 "spares" are in bad need to a going over, my two regular ones could use it as well. I found a place near by me but they do NOT rebuild them they only check them out and tune them up if you can even call it that. (Sent them there last year and they came back just as bad as when they left.) Any guidance with this issue would be greatly appriciated as the summer season is coming up pretty fast and I really need some lens that work.
Thanks!

| Do a web search for Paul Ebel. I take it you need to have the leaf shutters overhauled. Paul's in WI, and that's what he does. If you need the whole camera overhauled, do a search on this board for Fred Lustig. He's the one. |

Thanks so much! I will do that search. I think my camera bodies are ok, but then again I could be completely clueless if there were something wrong with them. I do know my lenses need to be overhauled. One will not trip at all acts as though it is jammed. Another will not stay open, automatically closes right back up. Thanks again!! I figured of all places to go for info this place would be the best.

Tracie,
Did you ever figure out your misalignment problem?

No les I didn't but I am pretty certain it is user related because their is only 1 person besides myself there taking pictures right now and all of her pics are off. I think maybe one of the cameras has a misaligned lensboard thingy (I am so technical aren't I? ) cuz it does look crooked to me. I think I just need to keep the disfunctional person off the cameras, and maybe save us some film. (problem is my boss was supposed to address this with her LAST summer amongst a few other things and he never did...) oh well. How would I know for sure if a camera itself needs a going over???
Thanks for remembering me Les
