Hello!

I recently purchased my first 8x10 camera [body, in need of repairs] and lens!

I am pretty sure after lots of research that I have it narrowed down to 1926-1943 production, but would love any feedback that anyone has about her.

1) Tag plate reads "The Folmer Graflex Corporation", and has a 4 digit serial #3361

2) Military tag UN 421 041804, ink stamped "69" in a circle [either camera # or inspector #], and a sticker certifying its upkeep by O&R, NAS, NOR. VA.

3) evidence that the original lens board held a wollensak 3 wide angle

4) Assembly marks "116" & "S" stamped into the wood [semi large font]

I'm planning to restore the camera keeping as much of it authentic as possible, and using it for my own photography practice. I've been collecting vintage camera since I was a teen, and have dreamt about owning an 8x10 for some time!

The Lens; will need to build a custom lensboard with extra support for it due to the weight, as well as an extension rail because of the mm: "Schneider-Kreuznach Symmar 300mm f/5.6 / 500mm f/12 convertible lens in a Compound Shutter".

I would love any advice, tips, tricks, or info anyone can help with! Ive sent a record inquiry to NARA to see if there are any records that link back to this camera as well.
