Greetings,
I wonder if anyone can assist me with info regarding the realignment of what appears to be a factory fixed Kalart Rangefinder in a 1938 Pre-anniversary Speed Graphic?
There doesn’t seem to be any adjustment screws, except for one in the middle of the rangefinder assembly for infinity. The unit, otherwise, appears to be sealed and I imagine factory set - when I attempted to unscrew the top and bottom panels there was no further internal access apart for a spring in the top and the back of the mirror. I imagine one could access the internals from underneath, but that would require removing it and the associated arms and levers as well. Maybe I’m missing something re disassembly?
I have checked it against two 135mm lens assemblies and one 150mm and it seems much closer to the latter (it came with a 15cm Zeiss Tessar)
Any ideas or documentation for realignment or fine tuning would be gratefully received. None of the Kalart docs I have seen online address this early version, it seems…?
Kind regards,
Stephen |
