I'm working up a table and or formula for masks for the tubular finder found on most Annies and Pacemakers and so far I've come up with the following list of lenses for all formats

47mm Super Angulon
65 Angulon/Super Angulon
80 WF Ektar
88 B&L w angle
90 optar, Angulon
100 WF Ektar
101 Optar/Ektar
127 Ektar/optar
135 Ektar/optar
140 telearton
152 Ektar Optar
162 Optar
180 Symmar
190 optar
210 Caltar
203 Ektar
240 tele schneider
250 tele optar
270 tele schneider
385 tele optar

What focal lengths am I missing? Actually I think most of these longer lenses wouldn't be used with a viewfinder and mask, so I don't want to go nuts with every modern focal length, the same is true at the short end. The 140 tele arton is not common but I got one so I thought I throw it in.
Anybod got others?

140 TeleArton? Did you make a typographical error?

Finder masks for lenses much shorter than normal? Are you sure such things exist?

Cheers,

Dan

140 tele arton

yes twas a 240 all along. I was thinking it was a 140 because it doesn't cover 4x5, I think it's rated only for a 2x3

There is/was the wide angle tubular finder that I posted last week and the poor successor to it--the wide angle adapter mask. I think these will be good for a 90mm on 4x5 and that's about it, but the 65mm with an RH 12 wouldn't be extremely wide. I was just looking for 98% of the lenses that are used on a speed/crown/century then I'll figure out which lens/find/mask combination will work.

I have the w/a adapter mask, the one with the crappy lens. It is good for a 65 on 2x3.

Cheers,

Dan

I suspose that the 152 mask will be close enough for the 15cm Tessar ans Skopar.
