I have recently purchased two 7" Aero-Ektars and have a spare OEM Graflex lensboard I intend to mount the better one on for use with my Speed Graphic.
My question is simple: Is there any thing special I need to be aware of for this procedure? I can already see before drilling the board that it's going to be a fairly tight squeeze on the outside of the board for the retainers to hold it in place, but is there anything else I should be wary of? |

The only control on the Aero-Ektar is the aperture ring which will sit proud enough on the outside of the lensboard that there will be no concern that it will be operable when mounted.
I'm more concerned with "structural integrity" issues as the Aero-Ektar is a heft piece of glass.
Thanks, though.
