Hi,
I'm in the process of cleaning a Supermatic shutter on my 4x5 pacemaker(127mm ektar). I usually get away with the flood method, but this one is different. Im not sure but it looks like somebody may have been into the shutter before and replaced the shutter blades in the wrong order. There are two that look like they are on top and the other three are below them. If memory serves me right, I thought they are arranged one on top of the other, at least they are in my graphex. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers

I don't have an exploded view of the Kodak Flash Supermatic Shutter, but I have a shutter that appears to be functioning normally. All of the leaves are overlapping except one. This one, on mine, is at the top, slightly to the right. I DO have a manual on a Kodak Synchro-Rapid 800 shutter. Same deal. All the blades overlap except one. I have a pic of this if you want it. Leave me a PM with your email address. Fred. |
