The poster in this thread from Photo.net claims he cannot register as a member here because of his Yahoo.com email. Is that true?

That could be right, back a couple of years ago, when I ran a large message system for archery, we did not allow Yahoo, Hotmail and a couple of the other larger free systems due to that amount of spamming of the board and problems we had with those particular types of accounts, it is up to the operator of the board on what addresses he will allow to register.
