Either it will have a bump on the top, or left side near the handle. Press bump and it will pop open. Some times you have to help it a little. Pull bellows out to the infinity stops, and lock down. A word of warning be sure the rack is fully back before closing camera. And of course the bellows is fullly retracted. Russ

as you are looking at the front of it (the side where you see the 2 knobs) is there a leather or vinyl handstrap on the right side? feel along the top of the side. up in the corner near the top to the left of the handstrap (or handstrap attachment) you should feel a slight bump (dimple) underneath the leather covering. Give this bump a slight push and that should release the front bed. then you can grasp the knobs and pull the bed out & downward, after which it should reveal to you the lens & bellows tucked away into the "box" body of the camera. the lensboard that the lens mounted on should have a model nameplate on the top of it directly above the lens itself. just under the lens board standard you should see a steel locking ring which will be angled to the right or left. by turning this to the center this should release the front lens standard so that you can pull it out along the rails until it contacts the 2 small fold-down infinity stops. at his point the bed track can be moved further outward along the rails of the bed by turning the 2 knurled focus knobs on the outward side edges of the bed. there's a wealth of information to be found on both the main camera model section of this website & also here in this help forum. one important thing is to make sure that before closing the camera front, make certain that you rack the focusing track all the way back into the camera body and make sure the front lens standard is all the way pushed back in & locked there, all just the way it was when you first opened the front. this is important as it will prevent the possibility of twisting, warping or otherwise damaging the track, rails or the two small links that join the "bed" section of the track to the "body" section. repairs could be costly if everything needs to be squared and aligned again.
i hope this helps.
more questions? just ask......

Thanks to everyone for the help. It was the little bubble on the top of the side.

Thanks again.
